Nevada bakery owner honored by National Association of Professional Women

Leila Tavakoli, owner of L.A. Bakery & Café in Carson City, Nevada, has been honored by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. The distinction recognizes leadership and commitment within the honoree’s profession.

NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women with more than 850,000 members and over 200 operating local chapters.

L.A. Bakery & Café offers wedding and special occasion cakes, pies, tarts, and breads, along with a full breakfast and lunch menu. The bakery is currently expanding, adding a new sitting/meeting area to its existing café. “It will serve about 84 customers inside and there will be a 25-30 person sitting area on the patio,” says Tavakoli.
