The Lamar’s Donuts chain, which is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, will be supplying the Denver area with donuts in a unique way on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

In the lead-up to National Donut Day on June 2, the bakery will partner with Drone Dispatch to deliver donuts by drones to Denver donut enthusiasts. The first delivery will go out that morning to the Denver mayor’s office, with other drop-offs to be made later in the day.

“We were intrigued by drone delivery services starting around the world so we decided to experiment with our own drone delivery,” says LaMar’s spokesperson Temi Osifodunrin. “At the moment, this is not available for everyday use, but we are looking at how to incorporate this into our options. Why just deliver donuts when you can deliver dronuts?”

Lamar’s will also be holding giveaways in all of its stores on Monday, May 29 and going until Friday, June 30. Customers can enter to win a free drone, donuts for a year, or gift cards.

Lamar’s Donuts has stores in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
