Berdoll Pecan Candy and Gift Company in Cedar Creek, Texas had such a high demand for its pecan pies that it had to figure out a new form of service. That led the company to install a one-of-a-kind vending machine.

A vending machine featuring a gigantic squirrel known affectionately as Ms. Pearl now sits outside of the store. The machine is available 24 hours and serves pecan pies, pecans, and candy. It is restocked frequently because it can only hold 10 pies at a time.

The cheapest item available is a $10 bag of jerky. Traditional pecan pies cost $20 and chocolate pies are $22.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the family uses a surveillance camera to keep tabs on the vending machine at all times. Apparently, the machine is so popular that it has even inspired some unique behavior among visitors. "We see a lot of dancing late at night," says Jennifer Berdoll Wammack.

The vending machine has become a tourist attraction along the highway, as it is located close to Austin.
