Cold brew coffees are incredibly popular among consumers, and retailers are looking at many different flavor options to bolster their cold brew lineups.

Starting this week, Dunkin’ Donuts launched its newest cold brew flavor, Sweet and Salted. The beverage consists of Dunkin' Donuts' signature Cold Brew, sweetened with liquid cane sugar and a special new, proprietary salted whipped topping.

Dunkin' Donuts' Cold Brew coffee is prepared by steeping a special blend of coffee in cold water over an extended period of time to extract a uniquely distinctive flavor from the beans. The longer brewing process provides a rich, ultra-smooth coffee with an inherently sweeter flavor reminiscent of dark chocolate.

The Sweet and Salted Cold Brew will be available for a limited time. Joining this beverage on the chain’s March menu is the Vanilla Truffle Donut, filled with vanilla flavored buttercreme, frosted with chocolate icing, and topped with white and dark chocolate curls; and the Shamrock Sprinkle Donut, frosted with chocolate icing and topped with special shamrock sprinkles.
