Brownstone Pancake Factory in Edgewater, New Jersey has become famous for its cold weather answer to the freakshake, the Loaded Hot Chocolate.

It starts with a basic hot cocoa, with steamed milk and chocolate syrup, but then gets ridiculous. The outer shell is a mountain of flavor that has to be seen to be believed.

The mug is coated with chocolate frosting and rolled in a pan of ground granola with sprinkles. The hot chocolate is topped with an entire slice of chocolate fudge cake, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Brownstone Pancake Factory was inspired by the freakshake craze. "We started getting creative and making our own," says owner Bobby Bournias. "Then winter came, and we tried to think of what else we could do."

The drink has become so popular that the restaurant will serve dozens of them in a span of a few brunch hours.
