On Saturday, December 16, the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles will host a pop-up featuring the famous stuffed potato balls from Southern California’s Porto’s Bakery and Café.

A limited quantity of the Cuban bakery's savory potato balls, as well as other baked goods, will be available to customers from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. PST as a way to help the Photography Space promote its current “Cuba Is” exhibit. The revealing collection of photographs explores aspects of Cuba not easily accessed by foreigners, and sometimes not even by Cubans themselves.

Porto’s has been running a pop-up café near the Photography Space since September, offering unique items such as guava cheese rolls, mango mouse, and chocolate and raspberry besitos.

Guests are encouraged to visit the installation early to have the opportunity to purchase the potato balls, which are being sold in packs of six on a first come first serve basis. For those who are unable to visit the installation, they can purchase the potato balls at any of Porto’s Bakery and Café’s four other locations.
