The Cranberry Bliss Bar

Starbucks has made an event out of its seasonal menu lineups, and winter is no different. Recently, the national coffee chain announced additions that utilize the classic flavors of the holiday season in both food and beverage categories.

Most interesting is the addition of an iced drink for the first time ever. The Spiced Sweet Cream Nariño 70 Cold Brew is a blend of Colombia Nariño and African coffee beans that have been slow-steeped for 20 hours, then spiced with cinnamon, anise, nutmeg, and vanilla. The drink is topped off with a dollop of sweet cream.

“The spices complement the cold brew and bring out the cocoa notes in the coffee. It’s a flavor reminiscent of the holiday season,” says Yoke Wong from the Starbucks beverage development team.

The Spiced Sweet Cream Nariño 70 Cold Brew joins returning peppermint mocha in the holiday beverage department.

As far as baked goods go, there are several changes to the menu. Making its return is the Cranberry Bliss Bar, joined by the frosted snowman cookie, holiday ugly sweater cookie, gingerbread loaf, peppermint brownie cake pop, and a snowman cake pop.

All The Trimmings Breakfast Sandwich

There will also be two breakfast sandwiches being debuted, the All The Trimmings Breakfast Sandwich and the Carved Ham, Egg, and Swiss Breakfast Sandwich. All The Trimmings will feature maple-glazed ham, an apple sausage patty, apple-sage stuffing, and savory maple glaze on a buttery bun, while the latter sandwich will be served on a croissant.

Those sandwiches will be joined by the Holiday Turkey and Stuffing Panini, a returning item.
