The Retail Bakers of America held a two-day certification test at Kendall College in Chicago with six candidates testing for their Certified Baker test and one candidate testing for Certified Master Baker.  

The hands-on test challenges candidates with their knowledge of the baking industry and techniques.  It was a very intense weekend, but these candidates knocked it out of the park showing the judges just what it means to get an RBA Certification.

An RBA Certification raises professional standards and verifies the knowledge, skills, and abilities a professional baker brings to the marketplace. 

 

RBA provides professionals in the baking industry the opportunity to do online testing for three designations - Certified Journey Baker, Certified Baker (CB is an online test & a one-day practical exam), and Certified Master Baker (CMB is an online test & a two-day practical exam).
