Airport bakeries

A new report by the travel experts at The GO Group reveals the five top bakeries where consumers can satisfy their sweet cravings at US airports.

Eli's Cheesecake was voted one of "The Top 10 Best Airport Restaurants in the U.S." by The City Guide. Located at O'Hare (ORD), it offers a huge selection of Chicago's favorite desserts and other items at United terminal 1, between gates B8 and B9.  Visitors also can purchase an Eli's Cheesecake to take on the plane as gifts for others or to savor at home.

In Philadelphia's (PHL) airport, travelers in search of top-notch delectables and coffee can partake of LeBus Bakery, a cafe offering fresh baked pastries and gourmet La Colombe brand coffee and other fresh made items at the top of Terminal C.

In Los Angeles' Tom Bradley International Terminal, (LAX) travelers can satisfy their sweet tooth with  Vanilla Bake Shop known for its cakes, cupcakes and assorted sweets with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients.

At Denver's International Airport (DIA), Woody Creek Bakery & Cake offers breakfast, lunch, and baked goods using the freshest products available. The company prides itself on offering a small-town, neighborhood feel and "paying it forward through community activism and knowing its neighbors."

The Ice Box Cafe showcases the fresh flavors of Texas offering a delicious array of hand-crafted cakes, desserts and a small selection of prepared lunch items at Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW).  The cafe provides travelers with freshly prepared food and baked desserts to offer a delightful dining experience.
