Cinnabon strives to sweeten the day for active-duty and veteran members of the U.S. military as Veterans Day approaches. Through Veterans Day, Wednesday November 11, for every CinnaPack purchased, Cinnabon will donate $1.20 to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that aims to lift spirits and meet the evolving needs of the U.S. military and first responder communities through the delivery of personalized care packages.

"We are so proud to be embarking on our 7th year of partnership with Operation Gratitude," said Joe Guith, President of Cinnabon. "It is an important part of the Cinnabon philosophy to show support and appreciation to those who serve others. Through our continued fundraising efforts for Operation Gratitude we are able to spread warmth from our bakeries to deserving U.S. service members all over the world."

Cinnabon encourages fans to express their support on social media using the hashtag #SweetSalute to send a picture of themselves saluting our troops. Cinnabon will collect images and video clips for one week (starting today) across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat in order to produce the ultimate appreciation montage. Participants can also submit their image for inclusion in the montage by visiting www.OperationSweetSalute.com.

Each appropriate #SweetSalute image submitted will be printed and included in an Operation Gratitude care package. Military recipients will be able to respond to supporters using the hashtag.

Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude has shipped over 1.3 million care packages to new recruits, veterans, first responders, wounded warriors and their care givers. Cinnabon guests can look for the Operation Gratitude stickers on top of CinnaPacks to find those that qualify for the $1.20 donation to U.S. troops.
