Crumbs Bake Shop, a popular specialty retail chain, is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Roundy's Supermarkets Inc., to launch a test pilot in the Mariano's grocery store in Westchester, Illinois, which opens on November 4.

Plans are in place to offer a fresh, sweet and snack bar featuring 25 flavors of Crumbs branded cupcakes and 15 varieties of brownies. Under the direction of new owner, Marcus Lemonis, entrepreneur and host of CNBC's reality series, The Profit, Crumbs will begin testing this concept at the Mariano's located at 3020 S. Wolf Road to receive customer feedback on the preference of availability and options of the baked goods from a major supermarket chain.

Currently, Crumbs cupcakes are available through their 25 retail stores throughout the country and for purchase online at www.Crumbs.com.

According to Lemonis, "We approached Mariano's because of their outstanding commitment to grocery quality, merchandising and customer satisfaction. Mariano's is my favorite local grocery store and it made sense to partner these two great brands together. We are excited to begin testing this concept with them at the Westchester, IL location, and we are looking forward to expanding the Crumbs brand offering in the near future."

Customers will have the opportunity to purchase many popular favorite Crumbs cupcakes at the Mariano's in Westchester, including Red Velvet, Carrot Cake and Cookies & Cream, and new products added to the menu including a Sweet Pete's Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcake, and a Key West Key Lime Pie Cupcake resulting from Lemonis' business partnerships on The Profit.

Roundy's is a leading grocer in the Midwest with nearly $4 billion in sales and roughly 18,000 employees. Founded in Milwaukee in 1872, it operates 160 retail grocery stores and 98 pharmacies under the Pick 'n Save, Copps, Rainbow, Metro Market and Mariano's banners in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois.
