Original SoupMan, the inspiration for the famous Seinfeld soup episode, has introduced a line of unique and proprietary soup flavors in convenient shelf-stable, eco-friendly Tetra-Pak cartons. Now, the Original SoupMan soups that people would wait in line for hours to taste in restaurants are available for people to enjoy in the comfort of their own home. After years of requests from consumers and retail partners to provide shelf-stable packaging for their legendary soups, the company has finally found a process that enables them to maintain the impeccable quality of the soup products that were previously only available in the frozen section of grocery stores.

The Original SoupMan heat-and-serve soups in shelf-stable packaging will feature the same obsessive perfectionism and eclectic varieties for which the brand is famous. The new Tetra Recart carton packaging enables the soups to be handled like traditional canned soups, but with the Original SoupMan quality and taste, allowing soup aficionados nationwide to enjoy the same spectacular ingredients and innovative flavors that have made the New York City flagship storefront a soup mecca since 1984.

The innovative retail line features recipes perfected by Al Yeganeh, the culinary inspiration behind the brand. Available in more than 3,400 supermarkets nationwide are Lobster Bisque, Tomato Bisque, as well as two “skinny soups”, Chicken Noodle and Lentil, which have less than 180 calories.   The soups are packed in artistically designed Tetra-Pak cartons to help preserve the taste and quality of Al’s famous soups.

This fall, the Original SoupMan will be launching three additional cutting-edge soup flavors to their retail line in a growing array of supermarkets across the country as the company continues to expand distribution nationwide. The launch of these unrivaled soup products will include Crab Corn Chowder, Chicken Gumbo and Jambalaya, completing a collection of exclusive flavors to create a perfect ‘7 wonders of the world’. The Original SoupMan will continue to grow on Al's tremendous success and popularity by sharing his renowned soups and new flavors with soup lovers year-round, giving world the opportunity to experience soup as it was meant to be.
