There’s less than one week before the doors open at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center for the much anticipated All Things Baking trade show. The inaugural event has already garnered significantly more registrations than the total attendance at 2009’s American Retail Bakery Exhibition, which All Things Baking replaced. Jacquelyn Clair, ATB’s marketing manager stated, “We are thrilled with the number of pre-registrations—and know our exhibitors will be, too. Pre-registration, the new event is already up 30 percent compared to the RBA standalone event that occurred in 2009. This is an exciting time to launch a show aimed at forward-thinkers who want to take their baking or food business to the next level.”

The Retail Bakers of America (RBA), American Bakers Association (ABA) and Bakery Equipment Manufacturers & Allieds (BEMA) announced the new All Things Baking event as a result of their success with the 2010 International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), which grew nearly 40 percent from the previous event. The new national trade show will serve as the industry’s annual marketplace, meeting place and educational forum during the 2-year gap in the IBIE rotation and keep baking and food service professionals on the leading edge of consumer trends.

All Things Baking is held Oct. 2-4 in Schaumburg (Chicago), IL. Attendees who have not already registered are encouraged to sign up at www.allthingsbaking.org.
