To promote the second season of FOX's hit series MasterChef, Taste of Home has partnered with the international hit show's producers Shine Group and Reveille to launch an exclusive MasterChef magazine. The special edition bookazine will be published the first week of July by Taste of Home, the #1 cooking magazine in the world, and distributed in major grocery and mass retail stores nationwide. The second season of MasterChef airs Monday and Tuesday nights on FOX. This marks Taste of Home's first licensing deal with a major television partner.

At 147 pages, the MasterChef bookazine includes more than 60 recipes that are featured on the show. Also included are exclusive interviews with MasterChef judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot along with insight from the women who hold the key to their culinary prowess, their mothers! MasterChef Season 1 winner Whitney Miller will share her favorite recipes and her new book, "Modern Hospitality with Southern Charm" along with memorable contestants featured in Season 1 and Season 2, with a special feature highlighting Season 2's 18 finalists.

"It was an easy and logical decision to partner with Taste of Home," stated Chad Bennett, Reveille's Vice President of Brand Development and Production. "There is a natural alignment with MasterChef and the content in Taste of Home, as both cater to the amateur chef at home. With more than 3 million subscribers to the print magazine and 3.6 million monthly unique visitors to www.TasteofHome.com, this presents an amazing opportunity to promote Season 2 of MasterChef."

"The MasterChef contestant is very much aligned with our audience," states Catherine Cassidy, Editor-in-Chief of Taste of Home. "We celebrate the home cook in every issue of Taste of Home and online at www.tasteofhome.com everyday, receiving more than 90,000 recipe submissions every year from our readers. We embrace this partnership with MasterChef to give an additional platform to the amateur chef and believe that this will be the first of many licensing deals with Reveille."

Around the world, MasterChef is one of the leading television reality series that searches for the best amateur cooks. First produced in the UK in 1990 and then reinvented by Shine TV in 2005, today the show has tapped into a global appetite, being produced in over 20 countries and creating the MasterChef brand as an extension of the television series.
