Premiere cake designer Theodore "Theo" Crampton III is moving his East Coast business to the West Coast. He will host a Tasting Launch Party on June 11, 2010, to introduce his company–Powdered Sugar Cakes–to Los Angeles. Crampton brings exclusivity, originality and exquisite taste to Los Angeles by creating the finishing touches to life's sweetest moments.

For the tasting/launch party, Crampton will display his signature and couture cake creations. The cakes will be displayed during the event to give guests the experience of Crampton's talent, and samples of "mini-cakes" and appetizers will be present for guest to enjoy. "Seeing the smiles on my clients faces," says Mr. Crampton, "is what brings me joy in what I do. It's NOT a job, it's a passion to make others happy!"

The launch party for Powdered Sugar Cakes will be held at 7:00 p.m. on June 11, 2010, at the very elegant and exclusive Villa lounge. The Villa Lounge is located at 8623 Melrose Avenue West Hollywood, CA.

Crampton has been passionate about baking since he was eight years old. It was always a delightful learning experience for him to bake with his family in their suburban Philadelphia, PA home. Crampton is excited to take this interest and turn it into a reality. His many accomplishments include graduation from the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York City (with the likes of Bobby Flay and Jacques Torres), studying with Ron Ben Israel and Ilene Shane of Sweet Bliss Chocolates, and creating "mini-cakes" for Epperson & Logan Neitzel's (Project Runway) appearance in New York Fashion Week. Crampton's most recent event was creating a birthday cake for the legendary soul singer, Patti Labelle.
