Workers with hand-intensive jobs can sometimes experience wrist and hand discomfort after being involved for long periods of time in repetitive motions...and cake decorators are no exception. Preventative action now can payoff in the long run. Just as athletes must warm up before physical activity, it is just as important to a person who does hand-intensive work to do their own warm-ups. Daily exercises could eliminate unnecessary pain and discomfort. Just five minutes a day before you start work or after a break can make a world of difference. Don't forget to take "mini breaks" to give your hands a rest.
