Switching to LED lights in food cases just makes better sense

Sustainability, the “green movement,” environmentalism, whatever you want to call it, the idea of incorporating practices and policies into your business plan that focus on eco-friendliness continues to concern customers.

The responsibility of caring for the planet falls on all its inhabitants, and it’s important. For businesses, many consumers decide on where to by based on a store’s sustainability. Using sustainability to market to these customers is fine, it’s business, but other  sound reasons do exist.

Switching from fluorescent to LED lights in refrigerated food cases presents an excellent opportunity to impress customers, improve the look of your products and create efficiency in your refrigeration.

LEDs require less maintenance, cost less, and most importantly, love the frozen environment. By using LEDs your refrigeration costs will lower considerably because they produce much less heat. So, instead of heating your frozen case with fluorescents, and then trying to cool it back down, use LEDs and create more operational efficiency.
